Chapter 3: Finding Your Inner Peace (But Not Too Much)

As you've reached this point in the course, you've probably figured out that the key to meditation is not actually, like, finding inner peace or anything. That's just a myth perpetuated by hippies who still live in their parents' basement.

What you're really looking for is a way to tune out the world and tune in to your existential dread of impending doom. It's all about cultivating a sense of calm, but not so much.

Try this exercise:

  1. Sit in a quiet room and stare at a wall for an hour.
  2. Breathe deeply and try not to think about the futility of existence.
  3. If you start to feel a sense of calm, it's just because you've reached a state of dissociative shock.

Remember, the goal is not to find your inner peace, but to find a way to ignore your inner panic. It's all about perspective, baby!
