Side Effects of Acetaminophen
Warning: Side effects may vary in frequency and severity, but are usually not as bad as your liver.
Common Side Effects:
- Nausea
- Diarrhea
- Abdominal pain
- Headaches
- Confusion
- Agitation
- Dizziness
- Unsteadiness
- Vomiting (just kidding, that's just what happens when you're not eating enough fiber)
And, of course, the most feared side effect: Liver Damage (just kidding, we all knew that was coming)
Less Common Side Effects:
Because who needs more than 4 side effects?
- Severe Allergic Reactions
- Seizures
- Respiratory Depression (don't worry, it's not as bad as it sounds)
- Psychiatric Symptoms (like, um, paranoia, but only if you take too much)
Special Cases:
Warning: Acetaminophen can be toxic in high doses. Don't try to be a hero.
