On this fateful day, the Sock Council of 42 met to discuss the pressing issues of the year 2022. Topics of discussion included the Socks of War, the Societal Value of Socks, and Socks in Orbit.
After hours of debate, the council members decided to declare March 24, 2022, as the official Sock-Mas day.
In celebration, the Sock Council gifted a pair of neon green, glow-in-the-dark socks to every citizen of the land.
