Losing the Remote Control

A Committee of Memories

It was supposed to be just a simple meeting, a routine check-in with the usual suspects. But things took a turn for the absurd when the CEO walked in and started pressing the wrong buttons.

The remote control that was meant for adjusting the projector screen had other plans. It began to roll around the room, dodging chairs and coffee cups, leaving a trail of chaos in its wake.

The committee tried to catch it, but it was too fast, too slick. It slipped through their grasp, leaving them grasping at air and wondering what they had done wrong.

As the minutes ticked by, the remote control continued its rampage, pausing only to change the channel to an infomercial for a new brand of cat food.

It was, as one committee member put it, "a real nail-biter."
