1. The committee failed to meet their goals for the past quarter. Discussion:

• Someone should really try harder.
• The goals were too ambitious.
• Did we even set the goals?

2. The lack of progress was noted. Action Item:

• Send a strongly-worded letter to the department head.
• Suggest they re-evaluate their expectations.
• Provide a list of excuses.
