Ancient Arbitration Resolution 429

In the interests of efficiency, the Council of the Ancients has resolved that disputes shall be settled by the most expedient and expedient means possible. This resolution shall be binding on all parties involved, effective immediately.

Article 1: The Principle of Expedience

The Council of the Ancients hereby declares that all decisions shall be made in the interests of expediency, rather than in the interests of justice, mercy, or any other virtue.

Article 2: The Procedure for Resolving Disputes

Disputes shall be resolved by the following process:

  1. One party shall present their case to the Council of the Ancients.
  2. The Council shall then present the opposing party with a series of increasingly absurd and humiliating demands.
  3. If the opposing party fails to comply, the Council shall award the complaining party a prize of 1000 Golden Cogs.
  4. Repeat steps 1-3 until resolution is achieved.

See Appendix 1 for examples of successful resolutions.

See Appendix 2 for a list of Golden Cogs winners.
