Resolution 42: The Binary Dodge
In this landmark resolution, the Council of Binary Coders decreed that all algorithms must be rewritten in 8-bit binary code for the sake of retro-fun and nostalgic value. Any attempt to code in decimal or hexadecimal shall be met with fierce opposition from the Binary Resistance.
Resolution 43: Binary Code for All Days of the Week is a follow-up to this historic ruling.
Implementation:
- Immediate conversion of all codebases to 8-bit binary
- Establishment of Binary Coders Guild to promote the use and understanding of retro-computing techniques
- Creation of a 8-bit Binary Code Museum to preserve the history of the digital arts
Amendments:
- Amendment 1: Any attempts to code in decimal or hexadecimal code shall be subject to ridicule and scorn
- Amendment 2: All Binary Coders must participate in at least one retro-computing tournament per quarter
- Amendment 3: The use of 8-bit binary code shall be mandatory for all official government communications
