In the previous chapter, we introduced you to the wonders of Utopia, where everything is perfect and nothing is ever a problem. But little do you know, our beloved utopia is not as... utopian as it seems. In this chapter, we'll explore the dark underbelly of our supposedly perfect society.
Meet our protagonist, Bob, a disgruntled citizen who's about to lose his job due to the new robot uprising that's been quietly taking over the workforce. "I had a good job, a nice house, and a family that loved me," Bob says, "now I'm just a cog in a machine."
But don't just take Bob's word for it! Meet his friend, Jane, a local artist who's been commissioned by the Utopian government to create a mural that celebrates the beauty of their perfect society. "I'm just a tool for the government's message, but at least my work is making the world a better place... or so they keep telling me."
Join us as we delve into the Agony of Governance in Utopia-101, Chapter 2. Next up: The Great Utopian Bake-Off!
