Witnesses report seeing a single, lone sock with a mischievous glint in its eye, wandering the streets at large.
A local resident, who wishes to remain anonymous, reported seeing the sock near the corner of 5th and Main. "It was like it had a mission," the resident said. "It was looking for something."
