Mondegreenisms: A Study of the Incoherent

Mondegreenisms are the art of making something sound like it could be real, but probably isn't. Like the time your aunt told you that she was on a unicorn farm in her youth, or the neighbor who claimed their kid was a direct descendant of Napoleon.

Or, you know, just the general feeling of unease you get when someone starts a story with "I'm telling you this, but don't go telling anyone else, but..."
