It's a little-known fact that the Moon rotates at a pace of 22.8 degrees per second, which is roughly the speed of a teenager on a Sunday morning.
Or, as we like to call it: Lunar-rotation-speed-squared (patent pending)
This is a speed so mind-bendingly fast that if the Moon was any faster, it would have long ago collided with the Sun. Or maybe that's just our imagination.
