Did you know?

The second quarter of the moon is where the moon's surface is most... interesting.

It's like the moon's equivalent of a teenager's awkward phase, where the surface is all like:

• Cratered with acne (aka, impact craters)
• Covered in a messy layer of regolith (aka, dust)
• Has a weird, wobbly mare (a large, flat plain)
