Queso Fundido, aka the Fungi Fiesta in a Dip
Are you ready for the wildest, most exceptional queso dip in all the land? Look no further than the Queso Fundido recipe, a true marvel of fungal flavors and textures.
As the story goes, the great Chef Fungi himself created this masterpiece by accident, when he spilled a vat of cheese onto the floor and then proceeded to dance the Macarena on top of it. The result? A cheesy, saucy, mushroomy delight that'll leave you questioning your life choices.
The Ingredients:
- 1 cup of the finest, freshest oyster mushrooms
- 1 cup of the creamiest, most divine queso
- 1/4 cup of chopped, caramelized onions
- 1/4 cup of chopped, sautéed garlic
- 1/4 cup of chopped, toasted cayenne pepper
The Method:
- Melt the queso in a pan over low heat
- Add the chopped onions and garlic, and stir until they're just combined with the queso
- Stir in the cayenne pepper, then add the oyster mushrooms
- Stir, stir, stir, until the mixture is just combined
- Serve with tortilla chips, and question your life choices
