Power-Napping: Best Practices
Warning: Power-Napping is a serious business. It requires dedication, focus, and a strong bladder.
As a seasoned Power-Napper, you're likely aware that the key to success lies in the art of extreme snoozing. Here are some expert-approved techniques:
- Find a comfortable position: recline, recline, recline!
- Block out distractions: earplugs, eye mask, and a "Do Not Disturb" sign.
- Timing is everything: nap during the peak of a commercial break or when a coworker's presentation gets too boring.
- Hydrate: a glass of water is not a substitute for a full night's sleep.
Avoid these rookie mistakes:
- Napping on the job: don't get caught, or you'll be out of the game.
- Falling asleep on your feet: it's not pretty.
- Not setting an alarm: you'll never know when it's time to wake up.
