Bob's Recommendations

For when your boss is watching, and you want to seem competent, but really you're just winging it:

1. Use a lot of buzzwords.
2. Make sure your PowerPoint presentation has lots of charts and graphs.
3. Be the first one to use the phrase "synergy" in a meeting. Guaranteed to impress.
4. When all else fails, just nod a lot and smile.

And remember, if you ever receive a performance review, just tell them you're "thinking outside the box." That's a totally reasonable expectation.
