Other Imbalance - OCD Syndrome
Warning: This is not your average, everyday mental health issue.
- Symptoms:
- Excessive tidying of non-existent messes
- Unrelenting need to reorganize inanimate objects
- Compulsive need for perfectly aligned socks
- Obsessive counting of invisible items
Causes:
We're not entirely sure, but it might have something to do with:
- Genetics
- Environmental factors (e.g., exposure to too much IKEA furniture)
- A combination of both (or maybe it's just because we're all secretly bored)
Treatment:
We recommend:
- Exposure therapy with a focus on mess-making
- Group sessions with other afflicted individuals for support and sock-counting
- A strict regimen of daily, intense tidying and reorganizing activities
