It began with a flickering light in the basement of a Berlin squat in 1975. A group of disaffected youth, fueled by cheap beer and second-hand polyester, stumbled upon a crate of records hidden away in the corner. The crate was labeled "DISCO", and the kids were like "What even is this?"
Fast forward to 1980, and the world was a very different place. Studio 54 was a thing, and our heroes were getting down on the dance floor to the sounds of Donna Summer's "I Will Survive" and the Bee Gees' "Stayin' Alive".
But little did we know, a dark force was stirring in the shadows... the rise of the dreaded "Rock 'n Roll" movement. Those pesky punk kids and their ripped fishnets were threatening to ruin everything our heroes held dear.
And so, the Disco Resistance was born. A group of rebels determined to keep the sparkly, glittery, funky vibes alive, no matter what.
