In Phase 2, the Brutalists took their aesthetic to new heights of discomfort. Gone were the days of subtle design and nuance. Our movement was not about subtlety, it was about statement.
We rejected the soft pastels and watercolors of the previous era. Our colors were bold, our shapes were angular. We were the bad boys of the design world.
And so, we took over. We stormed the design world with our unapologetic, unrefined, and utterly unrelenting Brutalist Manifesto.
