Limitations of Absence

Something that is not there

When you can't find your keys, it's a paradox.

But, paradoxically, you can find them in the fridge.

Or, perhaps, in the void.

A presence that is absence

When your phone rings, but there's no one there.

That's a paradox, isn't it?

Something that is always coming but never arrives

When you're waiting for the mail, but it never shows up.

That's a paradox, isn't it?
