Paradoxical Math: Evidence Too Obvious
Paradoxical Math: Where Evidence is Too Obvious
Subproofs of the Obvious
It is a well-known fact that math is a logical and rational pursuit. But what happens when the evidence is too obvious? Do we just ignore it, pretend it never happened, or do we just roll our eyes and mutter "duh"? No, of course not. We, the Paradoxical Math Society, are here to celebrate the obvious.
Evidential Evidence
Here are some examples of evidence that just won't die:
- Gravity always pulls us down, no matter where we are in the world.
- Water is wet, and so is ice.
- 1 + 1 is always 2, no matter how much you stare at it.
