Consider the following thought experiment:

  2. Now, imagine that S^2 is so precise, so exact, that it's essentially meaningless. In other words, S^2 is a paradox.
  3. But what if S^2 is not just a paradox, but a self-referential paradox? That is, what if S^2 is a paradox that refers to its own subtlety, creating an infinite regress of paradoxical subtlety?
