Subtlety Proof 4: The Unsubtlety Edition

A Guide to Doing Just Enough

This is the fourth in our series of guides on subtlety. Because sometimes you just don't want to put in the effort, but still want to appear like you're trying.

Or maybe you just want to be subtle, but not too subtle. You know, just a whisper of effort.

Table of Contents:

Chapter 1: The Art of Not Trying Too Hard

Subtlety is a Skill, Not a Science

It's not about being lazy, it's about being... efficient. Yeah, that's it. Efficient.

Take, for example, the art of making a decent cup of coffee. You don't need to overdo it with the fancy latte art or the artisanal beans. Just toss in some grounds, pour some water, and voila! Instant coffee. The epitome of subtlety.

Chapter 2: The Subtlety of Silence

Avoidance is the New Subtlety

Sometimes, the best thing to do is just not say anything at all. Or, you know, just give a nonchalant nod. The subtlety lies in avoiding the unnecessary, like those pesky questions that always lead to more questions.

Take, for example, your neighbor's cat that just won't stop meowing. Just don't talk to it, and it'll eventually get the hint.
