In the early 2000s, people thought "qwerty" was a good idea. It wasn't.
- 2005: "Let me just use the same password for everything, I'm sure it'll be fine."
- 2008: "I'll just write my password on a sticky note, that's safe, right?"
- 2010: "I'll just use a combination of my name, birthdate, and favorite food, that's unique."
- 2012: "I'll just use a password generator, but I'll never write it down."
- 2015: "I'll just use a picture of my cat, that's secure."
- 2017: "I'll just use a password that's 12 characters long, that's plenty."
