Step 1: Surface Prep (aka The Art of Making Everything Look Nice)

Step 1 of 4, because you can never be too sure about the number of steps.

What's the point of this?

Apparently, someone's mom is having a garage sale, and we need to make the whole thing look presentable. The neighbors are judging.

So, we're going to start with the Step 2: Sandpaper because, well, it's a thing.

And if you're feeling particularly motivated, you can also jump straight to Step 3: Paint and Pretend and just pretend like you're a real artist or something.
