As you've made it past the velvet ropes, congratulations! You're now in Phase Two: The Acceptance. This is where things get really interesting.

As a modern ambassador, you're expected to know the rules. Here are a few:

• Always wear a suit that's at least 5 years out of style.
• Never, ever use the word "please" in a sentence without first checking the local customs.
• When greeting a foreign dignitary, make sure to bow, but only if you're not sure what the protocol is, just go with it.
