Philosophers' Epicurusianist Page
Because who needs Stoicism when you can be Epicurusian?
The Epicurusianist movement is a philosophical school that seeks to balance the extreme hedonism of Epicurus' teachings with the practicality of, well, not being a complete hedonist.
Key tenets of this school include:
- Embracing the fleeting nature of pleasure, but still finding ways to enjoy it.
- Practicing moderate hedonism, lest one become too distracted from the pursuit of wisdom.
- Developing a sense of humor about the futility of life, but still finding joy in the little things.
