Heidegger, the German philosopher who said, "The nothing is the most basic thing," is the undisputed king of nihilism. His philosophical ideas are so bleak, you'd think he's a hipster who only wears black tuxedos and sips on absinthe.
But seriously, folks, Heidegger's philosophy is all about the meaninglessness of life. He'd say the meaning of life is to find meaning in the meaninglessness. Yeah, it's a real thing.
