You've got a transceiver that's not transmitting, receiving, or just plain not working.
Make sure they're securely attached and not tangled in a mess of cat hair.

Step 2: Verify the Power Source
Is the transceiver plugged into the wall and turned on? Check the power switch and make sure it's not just on the off-position.
