Why You Shouldn't Kill Your Plants (It's a Thing)
Plants are not your friends. They're just here to make you feel guilty for neglecting them.
But seriously, plants are good for you. They clean the air, make it look pretty, and occasionally, they even make a nice snack for you.
So, let's get into some basic plant survival skills:
How to Not Kill Your Favourite Cactus (It's Harder Than It Looks)
- Don't overwater it, or underwater it. Just water it.
- Don't put it near direct sunlight, or direct shade. Just put it somewhere.
- Don't forget about it, or remember it too much. Just check on it occasionally.
And if all else fails, just give it a good talking-to. Tell it how much you love it, and how you're sorry for almost killing it last time.
How to Not Kill Your Favourite Fiddle Leaf Fig (It's a Tragedy)
- Don't overfertilize it, or underfertilize it. Just fertilize it.
- Don't repot it too often, or don't repot it at all. Just leave it alone.
- Don't give it too much love, or not enough love. Just love it.
And if all else fails, just give it a nice funeral and pretend it lived a full life.
How to Not Kill Your Favourite Succulent (It's a Succulent, Not a Challenge)
- Don't water it, or do water it. Just don't think about it.
- Don't give it too much love, or too little love. Just give it a little love.
- Don't put it in a hot place, or a cold place. Just put it somewhere.
And if all else fails, just give it a nice retirement home, where it can sit and do nothing.
