Here's a list of symptoms that you might find yourself exhibiting:
- Excessive checking of your phone, even when there's no notifications
- Repetitive behaviors, such as tapping your feet or clicking your tongue
- Need for symmetry and order, often leading to clutter-free living spaces
- Tendency to overthink and overanalyze everything
- Excessive worry about the future or past
And here are some coping strategies to help you manage your symptoms:
- Try to practice mindfulness meditation, focusing on the present moment
- Engage in activities that bring you joy and help you relax, like playing with a fidget spinner
- Challenge yourself to take a few minutes each day to simply not think about your thoughts
- Remind yourself that it's okay to be a little messy and imperfect sometimes
