The Great Sock Puppet Rebellion

Legend has it that in the year 1987, a rogue sock named Steve started a movement in the laundry hamper.

Steve, a lone sock with a penchant for 80s rock music, grew tired of being paired with a mismatched sandal. He dreamed of freedom from the constraints of a sock drawer.

The sock puppeteer, as Steve came to be known, began to rally his fellow socks, whispering tales of a world where they were free to choose their own mates.

As the rebellion grew, Steve found himself face-to-face with the Sock Overlord, a fearsome foe with an arsenal of lint rollers and fabric softener sheets.

But still, the sock puppets persisted, and their legend lives on to this day as a testament to the power of rebellion and the right to choose one's own match.
