Bug-456: A Case Study in Incompetence

This bug was discovered on the 14th of February 2019, during a routine maintenance cycle.

It was caused by a faulty if-else statement, which led to a 3.4 second delay in page loading times.

This delay caused 12 users to abandon their shopping carts, resulting in a loss of approximately 4.2 million dollars in potential revenue.

Our top engineers were deployed to fix the issue, but their attempts only made things worse.

We've since rebranded the bug as "Buggin' 456" and are offering a commemorative t-shirt to anyone who can provide a working solution.
