Here are some ancient methods for brewing coffee:

A method of scooping coffee grounds into a rock and grinding it into a fine dust.

A method wherein you brew your coffee with hot water and then mix it with sand for an added grit.

A method where you place the coffee grounds in a vortex, and then hope the vortex imbues the grounds with flavor.
