Coffee is a beverage that exists in multiple places at once. We've all experienced this. You reach in for it, but it's already in your cup. You pour it, but it's already full. It's as if the laws of space and time are mere suggestions to this particular brew.
This phenomenon is known as the Quantum Coffee Observer Effect. It's where the act of observation itself changes the state of the coffee. If you stare at it long enough, it will be both empty and full. If you blink, it will be a different flavor.
We've tried to study this effect, but our findings have been inconclusive. We've had some promising leads, but they've all been... well, they've all just sort of... disappeared.
