We're not saying it's a good idea, but sometimes the only way to resolve a paradox is to just... jump ahead a bit. It's not like we're suggesting you can actually change the course of events or anything, but... well, you can't, actually. Unless you're a chrono-displaced genius or something.

Our experts (i.e., the cat in the hat) have calculated the optimal quantum leap duration to be precisely 3.14 seconds. Any more or less, and you risk disrupting the space-time continuum. Or not.
