Quantum Fluff Theory (QFT) is a revolutionary new approach to understanding the mysteries of the universe, or at least, not understanding them. Developed by renowned physicist, Prof. Reginald P. Bottomsworth, QFT posits that the fundamental nature of reality is, in fact, a big ol' mess.
According to QFT, the universe is comprised of 47 different flavors of fluff, each with its own set of confusing and contradictory properties. These flavors include: Fluffnium, Flumplaxian, and Fluffnado.
Fluffnium, the primary flavor of fluff, is a particularly troublesome one. It's like a cross between a cloud and a sponge, but not really. It's more like... well, it's just really confusing.
Flumplaxian fluff, on the other hand, is all about the importance of socks. Yes, you read that right. Socks. It's a real thing, we swear.
