Quantum Superposition Bacon Paradox

A deliciously absurd puzzle

Imagine a plate of crispy bacon, hovering in mid-air, defying the laws of physics and good sense.

In the quantum world, particles can exist in multiple states at once, like a strip of bacon that's simultaneously crispy and soggy, hot and cold, and delicious and not-delicious.

But what happens when you try to eat this bacon? Does it collapse into a single state, like a wave function collapsing into a definite position, or does it continue to exist in superposition, like a plate of bacon that's always simultaneously crispy and soggy?

We're not sure, but we're willing to find out. Click here to see our latest research.
