The Regular Expression Rodeo
Regular prophets, or prophets, are like the cowboy of programming. They ride the range, lassoing matches left and right,æk æk But, like any cowboy, there are rules to live by. And, like any cowboy's trusty sidekick, the regex engine is the one you want by your side.
But, I'm not a big fan of regular expressions. I mean, they're alright, I guess. It's just that I'm more of a "I'll just use a search function in the database" kind of guy. There's a time and a place for everything, and for me, that time and place isn't nowประก and here.
