You'd think this one's obvious, but apparently it needs to be said: the remote control for your TV is not, in fact, a toaster. We can't stress this enough. Don't try to make toast with it, don't use it as a bookmark, and for the love of all things sane, don't try to use it to control the thermostat. Just use it for TV. Got it?
