Low-Tech

In a time before the internet, we had to rely on analog signals to get our entertainment news.

We used modems to connect our modem computers to the world, one dial-up call at a time.

Our CBS news anchors were always broad and lovely, and our Top 40 charts were always top.

And don't even get us started on our favorite shows: The Price is Right, Star Trek, and Days of our Lives.

But it wasn't all good times and good vibes, we had to deal with static and white noise, line interference, and dial-up.

We survived on coax and RG-6 cables, modems and microwaves, and antennas that pointed up and out.

It was a different world, but we made do with what we had.
