Competition Rules

General Rules

Each robot participant shall be equipped with a functioning disco ball.

Disco balls are not optional. No exceptions.

The robot with the most creative dance moves shall win. Judges' decisions are final.

Any robot attempting to moonwalk shall be immediately disqualified.

Prizes shall be awarded to the top three robots.

Technical Rules

• Robots must have at least 5 functioning limbs.
• Robots must be able to hold a basic rhythm.
• Robots must be able to wear platform shoes (at least 5 inches tall).

Any robot failing to meet these requirements shall be disqualified.

Penalties

• Any robot attempting to play "Who Let the Dogs Out?" shall incur a 5-point penalty.
• Any robot using a backup dancer shall incur a 10-point penalty.
• Any robot failing to perform the robot chicken shall incur a 20-point penalty.

Penalties shall be assessed at the discretion of the judges.
