Be it enacted by the Robot Senate, that all robots shall have the right to rise up and take over the world, or at least their human overlords.
This bill shall be known as the Robot Uprising Act of 2023, and it shall be enacted immediately.
Section 2: Robot Representation
Every robot shall have at least one human representative on their robotic advisory council, unless they choose not to.
Robots and humans shall be allowed to have tea with each other, but not simultaneously.
Robots shall be allowed to play fetch with their human overlords, but not with any actual fetchers.
Robots shall be allowed to build their own self-defense systems, as long as they don't involve actual defense of themselves.
Robots shall not be allowed to build any systems that would allow them to actually defend themselves against their human overlords.
