Rooster Chowder Soup Recipe
Warning: This recipe contains high amounts of sass and attitude. Proceed with caution, or risk losing a finger to a disgruntled rooster.
Ingredients:
- 1 rooster, preferably one that's given you lip service
- 1 can of chunky, industrial-strength chicken broth
- 1/4 cup of butternut squash, or whatever
- 1 tablespoon of olive oil, to grease your hands for the impending rooster-fighting
Instructions:
- Subdue the rooster with a 2x4 piece of plywood, or a really large mallet. We're talkin' medieval times, here.
- Mince the rooster, then chop it into tiny pieces. Don't worry, it's not like you're gonna get pecked by the ghost of the rooster or anything.
- In a large pot, heat the chicken broth over medium-high heat. Add the butternut squash, and stir until it's as smooth as your rooster-fighting skills.
- Pour in the rooster bits, then stir until they're fully incorporated. Serve hot, garnished with a side of sass.
Side effects may include:
- Loss of a finger or two
- Severe rooster-related stress
- Uncontrollable laughter
