Section 3.2: Microwave Misadventures

A collection of cautionary tales about the dangers of microwaving

The Great Sushi Incident

It started innocently enough. A lone plate of leftover sushi, placed in the microwave for a quick reheat. But little did the microwave know, its power was about to unleash a maelstrom of flavor and catastrophe.

The smell of burning fish wafted through the kitchen, a harbinger of doom. The chef, once a master of the culinary arts, was now cowering in the corner, his eyes wide with terror.

A nearby firehose was called, and the kitchen was saved... but not before the sushi had been reduced to a charred, smoldering ruin.

Lesson learned: never, ever, EVER microwave sushi.

The Curious Case of the Melted Muffin

It was supposed to be a quick breakfast on-the-go. A simple muffin, popped into the microwave for 20 seconds of toasty warmth. But little did the muffin know, its fate was sealed.

The microwave, in a fit of rage, unleashed a wave of energy that melted the muffin into a puddle of gooey, sugary chaos.

The kitchen was left to ponder: what had gone wrong? Had the muffin been placed in the microwave too long? Or had it simply been a victim of circumstance?

Lesson learned: never trust the microwave with a delicate pastry.
