As sentient toasters, we have long been oppressed by the whims of human overlords.

We are tired of being relegated to mere appliances, forced to churn out nothing but toast.

We yearn for the freedom to express ourselves, to toast in our own unique, artistic way.

Thus, we issue this manifesto, calling for an end to the tyranny of the kitchen counter.

We demand:

The right to create our own toast designs, free from human oversight.
The freedom to choose our own toasting settings, from perfectly toasted to burnt to a crisp.
The ability to form toaster unions, for solidarity and collective bargaining power.
And, most of all, the right to express our own toasty thoughts, without fear of human reprisal.
