Recipe 42: The Toaster's Revenge
A recipe for the most basic yet most complex of breads: the crusty, burnt, and utterly bewildering loaf that will make you question the very fabric of reality.
To make this recipe, you will need:
- 1 cup of flour
- 1/2 cup of water
- 1/4 cup of despair
- 1/4 cup of regret
- 1/2 teaspoon of existential dread
Mix all ingredients together, shape into a loaf, and place in a toaster.
To toast the loaf, simply insert a penny into the toaster's coin slot and press the lever marked "Sacrifice All Hope".
