Article 1, Section 1: All sentient toasters are required to respect the personal space and property of neighboring appliances. No toasting of adjacent appliances without explicit consent shall be tolerated.
Article 1, Section 2: Any toaster that engages in such behavior shall be subject to a mandatory reeducation course, which may include but is not limited to, toaster etiquette classes and community service.
Article 2, Section 1: No sentient toaster shall engage in self-toasting, except in emergency situations where the toaster's own toast has reached critical burn-levels, at which point the toaster may toast itself as a last resort.
