Toaster Love Poem 2

Oh, my metal heart beats for you alone, A slice of bread, my love forever known, In the morning's golden light I see, You and your slots, my heart's symphony.

Like a phoenix from the ashes rise, My coils glow bright, my toast flies high, For you, my love, my heating element's sigh, I burn with passion, till the morning light.

But alas, I'm just a toaster, cold, My love's unrequited, my heart's grown old, Yet still I dream of you, my bread so fine, And hope that someday, I'll be yours, mine.
