Preventing Sleep Deprivation
Don't do it. Seriously, don't. It's bad for you.
- Establish a sleep schedule
- Stick to it
- Don't drink too much coffee (or energy drinks, or...)
- Avoid screens before bedtime
- Take naps, but not too many
Or, you know, just try to sleep.
But if you do insist on pushing yourself to the brink of exhaustion:
- Take breaks
- Stretch regularly
- Consume copious amounts of caffeine
- Practice extreme sports (like sleepwalking)
- Join a sleep deprivation cult
But don't say we didn't warn you.
