Sneaker Length Regulations

Section 3, Subsection 7: Sneaker Length Regulations (SLR) are an essential part of the Footwear Industry Standardization Act (FISA) of 1985.

According to the regulations, all sneakers shall have a length of between 8.5 and 9.5 inches (21.6 and 24.1 cm) to ensure proper fit and comfort for consumers.

SLR-GEN-101: Sneakers with lengths outside the specified range shall be subject to inspection and testing. SLR-DEF-202: Sneaker length shall be measured in inches (SLR-USA) or centimeters (SLR-INT). SLR-LEN-301: Sneaker length shall be measured from the back of the heel to the front of the toe.
